APLD Oregon invites you to our Third Annual Landscape Industry Happy Hour — a relaxed and welcoming afternoon to reconnect with colleagues, meet new friends, win raffle prizes and get inspired for the year ahead. All landscape industry professionals are welcome.

Enjoy complimentary food and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic drinks are available just steps away at the adjacent Show Bar next to our meeting space, the Astoria Room, located inside Revolution Hall.

The Art of Garden Making: Finding and Sustaining Design Inspiration

With over 40 years of professional design/build practice, Marion McNew, owner and principal designer of Mount Hood Gardens, will share how she finds and sustains creative inspiration—drawing from gardens, conferences, and travels throughout the U.S., Europe, and Japan. Her talk will offer practical insights and tools designers can use when creativity needs a spark.

Following the presentation, attendees will break into small groups to exchange ideas and explore practical strategies for turning inspiration into reality across designer, contractor, and client partnerships.
