ABOUT THE PROGRAM

The Landscape Industry Certified Exterior Technician program is the National Association of Landscape Professionals (NALP) flagship program for the lawn and landscape industry and is highly sought after as an essential credential nationwide.

The Exterior Technician exam is administered online through a secure, remote proctoring service; giving access to the program across all 50 states. This program is designed to cover the technical aspects of exterior landscaping: installation, maintenance and irrigation. It offers five (5) practice areas: Hardscape Installation, Softscape Installation, Ornamental Maintenance, Turf Maintenance and Irrigation. Start your journey today! Now offered in Spanish!

About the Exam

The Technician-Exterior exam has five specialty areas to choose from: Softscape Installation, Hardscape Installation, Turf Maintenance, Ornamental Maintenance or Irrigation.
